The short version: nothing you write leaves your device, because there is nowhere for it to go. Unblended has no server, no account, no analytics, and no third-party code. It is a set of static files that run in your browser.
Nothing. No personal information, no contact details, no identifiers, no usage data, no diagnostics, no advertising data, no location, no contacts, no health records. There is no sign-up and no account to create.
Your session entries, the parts you name, and your settings are saved using your browser's local storage. That is a store on your own device, readable only by this site in this browser. It is never transmitted anywhere.
Because there is no server, nobody, including the author, can read your entries, recover them, or be compelled to hand them over. There is no copy to hand over.
Only to show it back to you inside the app: your journal, your list of parts, and the summary of your own patterns. It is never analysed for any other purpose.
None is used. Nothing you write is sent to, processed by, or used to train a language model or any other machine learning system. The prompts in the app are fixed text, written in advance, and identical for every person.
There are none. No analytics provider, no crash reporting, no advertising network, no fonts, scripts, or assets loaded from anywhere else. The app has no dependencies.
The site is hosted on GitHub Pages and served through Cloudflare, which, like any web host and content delivery network, may process standard server request information such as IP addresses for delivery and security. That is their processing, not the app's, and it happens whenever you load any page anywhere. From it the author can see aggregate traffic counts, such as how many requests the site got. Nothing you type is part of any of it: what you write never leaves your device, so there is nothing for any host to see.
The app contains a few outbound links: to findahelpline.com (a directory of crisis lines), to the source repository on GitHub, and to the author's site. Nothing loads from any of them; following one takes you to a site with its own policy.
The other side of that: clearing your browser data erases your entries permanently, and nobody can restore them for you. Use Export in the Journal tab to keep a copy.
There is no data processing to consent to, and so nothing to revoke. Using the app is the whole of the arrangement.
The app is not directed at children and collects nothing from anyone, of any age.
Unblended is a self-help practice aid. It is not therapy, not a medical device, not a crisis service, and it does not diagnose, treat, or measure anything. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or certified by the IFS Institute, Richard Schwartz, or any clinical body.

Any change to this policy will appear on this page with a new date. Every version is in the public git history, so the record of what was promised and when is verifiable rather than asserted.
